Quick Q on 5/6 port sleeve install

Just a sanity check here. Are these installed correctly (90 NA Rx7)?? FSM says the large portion of the dowel pin down, and I assume 'large portion' is the the largest diameter of the pin?

Put the LIM in place with the actuators. The actuator arms are slotted in such a way that they only fit with the sleeves in the correct holes at the correct angles.

Im up to speed with that, but was wondering about the pin in the sleeve itself. Larger diameter portion of pin down or up.

When i installed atkins sleeves in my 91 i installed them so the opening was down. My thinking was that the rear actuator spins the sleeve counter clockwise to open and the front spins clockwise

Use an air gun to put a few psi into the actuator vacuum lines and see which way they spin open.

Well, I have the lower intake on and can't see them rotate--that's an old picture. I can use vacuum hose and hear them move, but now I'm second guessing if I installed them correctly.

So you don't know whether you put the port sleeve opening facing up or down?

Yep, not sure. All I need to know is does the large diameter portion of the pin go down or up. Picture shows down. Is that correct? I cant see the sleeve now with the lower intake installed.
