clean your ports and close them and dont worry about your gasket. it would be proper maintinance to get a new but if your old one is good condition dont worry about it

or you just pick up the new gaskets at advanced auto parts, were like 35 dollers and chances are you gaskets are or will be non usable when u pull the LIM off, buy 15 feet of vac lines also, they WILL break.

Im not taking of the lim, just the little cap held on with 2 screws so i can spray some penetrating lube in there and try to work them closed.

If you try and take the screws out, make sure you have back ups. Honestly, I wouldn't take anything apart until you are ready to do all of it. At this point I would put some penetrating oil, PB Blaster, on the rods for the sleeves, several times over the next few days and then try working them loose gently. This will only work if the rods are seized. If the sleeves are locked up with carbon, which is more likely, complete disassembly of the intake is usually required.

When you have new gaskets and vac hose on hand, do the job up proper. I've had sleeves soaking for a week before I could break them loose and the screws on the end of the sleeves will often snap off.
