questions for my 89

GXL model.

For one thing my idle bounces really only with my headlights on from 1000 t0 1500. Will turning the tps screw until it lowere help me.? I fixed my intake leak and cant find anymore. Sprayed the hole engine with carb cleaner.

another question is their is no difference in my sport susspension. my suspension is really springy soft. Is their a way I can replace it with aftermarket ones and still have adjusting.

One more. My car sputers at any rpm only when cold. It sputers like as if the ignition is bieng cut. Super fast sputters like only when i hit the gas 1/3 of the way or more. Its like waaaa a a a a a aaa aa a within a second. Whats up. goes away when warm.

Please help ansewering some of my questions. Hows a kid to race when his cars sputering. I put new wires but problem persists. plugs are only 3k old.

your tps has nothing to do with it. if the idle changes when you turn on the lights then it's something to do with the BAC vavle.

most cars with Auto susp. don't work anymore. I've only seen one car that still does. nothing aftermarker will work with the switch. it's not worth fixing. just get a good set of aftermarket ones. the kyb agx are the best for the $$. $355 for the set at www.k2rd.com.

if it sputters when it's cold how does that effect your "racing". you shouldn't be driving over 3000 or 1/3 throttle while not warm anyways.

when cold the secondary thottrol plates won't open to keep you driving slower. if you give it enough gas while cold it will just choke itself since there isn't enough air getting in.

don't know if that's your problem or not.

hey

thnx. I knew you were going to say that about the racing. I was just foolin. I will check the bac valve for leakes. anywhays The sputering is not normal. It hapens as low as 1000rpms or something. Never was thier before. It hapended after I put the super afc on but double and tripple checked everything with soldered connections. Like I said when warm it goes to normal although does miss still when I first snap the throttle. Like budmmmmmm. Also jerks during de eceleration. Like one jerk per second in even intervals. budmmmbudmmmbudmmm.. AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
