Exclamation Questions. Im New. Enlighten Me

what kind of oil should I put in it? i heard synthetic is bad. I'me also gunna install and ssqv soon, any tips? I also heard that I ahve a stock boost controller. Its a nut or a bolt or something on the firewall that I turn to up the boost. And i have an fcd. So since my stcok boost gage is wrong, wherte can I intsall and aftermarket boost gage to make it have the right amount of psi? if possible

ok before you get ahead of yourself here, stop and read the FAQ. it has lots of good info in it. like oil info. but yes, synthetic is not good if you are running the stock oil injection system as is does not burn well in the combustion chamber. stick to a good mineral oil anywhere from 5w30 to 10w40 depending on the climate you're in. some people like the 20w50, but thats a little too thick IMO.

why get a SSQV? just for the sound? it won't really do much for you other than that. the stock blow off valve works great on a stock setup.

as far as i know there is no "boost controller" on the car from the factory. it does have a wastegate that regulates boost, but it opens at a preset level and is not able to be changed without an aftermarket unit hooked up. again, why do you need a boost controller? the stock system can't handle much more boost than what its running at in stock form. the FCD helps if you have an aftermarket exhaust, but you should still have an upgraded fuel pump to be sure your engine is getting the fuel it needs. starve the engine of fuel, and you're going to be looking for a new engine...

as far as hooking up an aftermarket boost gauge, running it off of one of the vacume lines that run to the manifold should suffice.

seriously read up on how turbo systems work, and how to tune for them, and what mods you need to reliably up the power. you're new to this and thats ok, we all had to start somewhere. but don't think that slapping on a BOV and a boost controller are going to get you anywhere if you don't know how they work.
