questions about J-spec (pics)

i dont remember that being there but it could still be there. im using my power stearing so that might get rid of it.
and that square thing with the bolt going into it and a pipe comes off it it.

thats a vid after doing my fuel pump rewire and im just making sure its squirting out enough fuel because it doesnt seem like it but maybe thats just the way it works.

Well the first picture has the Heater hose circled. That should be the same on the Ame-spec car.
The second picture has the electronics for the power steering. That might look different than the Ame-Spec car. Use the Power steering pump and wires from you existing setup in the car.
The third picture is the vacuum assist for the power brakes. the hose on it goes to the brake master cylinder on the J-spec car. I am not sure how the american cars are setup in this respect.
As you have probably noticed when junkyards pull engines they cut everything off with dikes.........I hate that and it is a waste of a good harness especially for a S5. My reccomendation is to strip it down to the block and use all the manifolds and acessories from your old engine. This will ensure that you have things in the right places.
