Questions about an exhuast system I may purchase

Ok one of the forum memebers here recently crashed their 7. They are now parting the car out, and Mzada said my exhaust is mostly rusted through and would need a stock replacement. The guy on this site says his entire exhaust is free of dammage, about one month old, it's a catback system for an N/A. The company is pacesetter. I need to know if it will work with my turbo and what kind of company is pacesetter? Are they bad, mediocre, good, etc. Will it be better than stock? And for about $200 to $275, would it be worth it (rather than stock replacement)? Thank you, I have never bought parts for a car before as this is my first car and I've never heard of pacesetter.

pacesetter is an ok company. Go under your car. Everything from the y-pipe to the back is the same for turbo and N/A except piping diameter. However, from the y-pipe forward is different from turbo to n/a. So ya it will work.

I got my RB turbo catback used for like $200 total locally. I would hold out for a better deal.

Besides, if you buy an N/A system you will be unhappy with it because eventually you're going to want a full 3" turboback system.

ok thanks, i'm looking around at mazda, muffler shops, this site, and soon I will look for aftermarket, as most of my options are stock replacement.

If he only payed $300 and it needs to be shiped to you, a used total price of $200-$225 should be the ceiling on that. I got super lucky from a member on this forum selling Turbo-back dual 3'' systems for $450 shipped and he had a used Single 3'' turbo-back system that I ended up buying for 225$ shipped from Florida to Michigan! No ****, 3'' turbo-back stainless at a month used.Good luck.
