questions about custom FMIC.
i'm planning on making a custom fmic, but i still got some questions in my head. whats the largest possible IC u can fit on the front of a fc? and what do u guys recommend for a good cheap IC to custom to the front of my t2. i was planning on getting a saab 9000 IC which is 34.5"Wx18.5Hx4"D, is that to big of an IC?

I think that Saab is way to big. Go for a NPR Truck IC.
If not go with a Greddy Kit that brings everything or a Spearco Core with custom made piping. Remember bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to IC's.
It all depends on the type of Turbo, Motor, Boost, etc.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing the same thing with a Porsche intercooler (24x5x6, bar and plate style) on a stock TII turbo with slightly greater then mild mods (About a 270-280 HP setup)... i'm just trying to figure out how I would go about getting the proper piping for such.... That, and if that may be a little too small for my needs (Shooting for 360-400 HP at the end of it all)
P.S. Sorry for jumping all up on your thread like that, just glad to know someone else is trying to take the custom route... XD

i am using the starion frontmount IC. its working great with my stock turbo. its also been about 50-60 degrees outside here, but whenever i pop the hod after a hard run, the IC inlet is burning hot and the outlet side (that goes to the engine) is nice and cold to the touch...
