Questions about changing the Starter

How hard is it for a beginner to change the starter and solenoid on a rotary?

Is there a web site anywhere that gives you step by step phototropic instructions?

I am thinking about doing this myself but am unsure...

Also, if I was to bring it to a garage what type of labor am I looking at for the Solenoid and also for the Starter

Thanks guys

It's very easy. The starter is located on the lower driver's side of the transmission bellhousing. First disconnect the battery, and then take the electrical connections off of the starter. Then you just unbolt it. Assembly is just the reverse of disassembly.

A shop would probably charge an hour's labor.
