Questions

before i begin ordering parts for this project, I have some questions.

First off, will the Knight Sport front bumper be compatible with the GP Sports side skirts and rear bumper? I'm not sure if you need the full Knight Sport kit for it to work, and there really isnt any info about this.

Second, Pineapple Racing sounds nice, but I don't know if I want to wait that long for a rebuild, or pay that much. I hear really good things about Kevin Landers, and see him post here often. I was wondering if anyone could tell me experiences about his rebuilds, prices, etc. (I'm not saying I don't trust him, from what I have seen posted by him he seems like a very knowledgable and honest guy. I was just looking for some customer feedback before deciding on what to do.)

Third, What else will I need to replace under the hood after the rebuild? Id like the car to be running at peak performance. I don't know anything about TPS adjustment of removal, charcoal canister removal, and whatever else. Im putting a new radiator in and silicone hoses, and a new electric fan. thats about all I have so far though. I was just wondering what I should replace in there while I have the engine out.

Fourth, how has everyones luck been with running a Zex dry kit on an N/A? Id like to definitely throw one in there while I am doing everything else. Just wondering ease of install, chances of detonation, and so on, and so on

5th, any reccomendations for a good brake upgrade? Im putting slotted rotors in, and wanted to get a complete big brake kit but im not sure what to buy. Im looking for a decent deal thats high quality.

Sixth-Has anyone managed to fabricate an intake tube thats better than stock? Im looking polish the motor and all under the hood to a show quality shine, and I'm not really a fan of that ugly *** black tube. Has anyone made one out of stainless piping or anything?

Im sure I will have more questions as this project progresses, but this is about all for now. Thanks for any help.

1, couldn't say, not impressed with either.

2, check the good guy/bad guy section of this board for reports on kevin. I personally only have positive things to say about him and my dealings with him.

3, water pump and all rubber (including belts, hoses, mounts, etc).

4, never tried NO2, never felt the desire.

5, the brakes on the GXL are far better than you can possibly need. Up grade the pads, stay away from cross drilled rotors. If you must waste you money on upgrading the brakes, new SS lines and slotted (but not cross drilled) are a minor improvment on a street driven FC.

6, plastic is light and doesn't absorb heat like metal does.

thanks for the info so far. I wanted to put slotted rotors and upgraded lines on it. I know to stay away from cross drilled.

I know people have mixed reactions to the Knight Sport front end, I really like it though.

Any info on TPS adjustment, I just know absolutely nothing about it or how it works.

Also, I will be looking for 89-91 Black leather door panels, a black carpet set, and possible other interior pieces.
