question w/block off plates
i want to buy a block off plate set,but i want to know if its a good idea.oil metering pump,egr. -ect.what harm will it do? any info will help. thanks jason

uh... well, you'll have to remove everything you buy a block off plate for, so just think of what will happen without those parts. Removing any smog stuff isn't gonna hurt the car, removing the MOP requires that you premix, which is probably better for the car than stock oil injection, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question correctly? Is this what you wanna know?

I installed block off plates on a S5 TII and it settled down the idle. I think I had a bad BAC valve. I left the OMP on as the S5's need it to be installed (Unless you go standalone.)
I removed:
ACV
Split air (Entire new RB exhaust)
BAC
Left the EGR and OMP (To lazy to pull the UIM)
I removed:
ACV
Split air (Entire new RB exhaust)
BAC
Left the EGR and OMP (To lazy to pull the UIM)
