Question for those w/racing seats....
First off let me say that they feel great to sit in. More comfortable than I thought. Guess it depends on the brand? Anyway, my question is....How is it having them in place of the stock seats? Are they bearable for daily driving? Just curious. Thanks.

Depends on the seat.. I've got Corbeau GT7s in my Trans Am, those are more like a touring type seat, and those are great.
Stuff like the Momo/Sparco seats, that still probably wouldn't be too bad for day to day stuff. Kinda clumsy to get out of, but doable.
Move up to purpose built lightweight race seats like my Kirkey, fugehtboutit.. Can't even get into it without a disconnectable steering wheel.

My Momos are very comfortable, but squeezing past the side bars of the roll cage is a bit of a pain when entering and exiting the vehicle. The only thing that took some getting used to was the lack of an inertia reel on the restraints. One thing to consider when ordering racing seats is that most of them are very narrow, so you will need to order special wide seats if you plan on letting Jennifer Lopez drive your car.
