Question for thoes who have dissasembled a trans

How did you get the trans case to seperate from the intermediate housing? Do i have to buy the mainshaft pusher? How much force does it take to press the shaft though?

nope, i recently did this. first you need to read the fsm on removing the trans.
the real trick is getting the shift lever out of the way.
then get a rubber hammer and flat screw driver and hit the end of the tranny to seperate.
just gota tap around the seals to loosen them up.
but first look at this

http://www.teamfc3s.org/main/factory...ANSMISSION.pdf

on page 8

i will help you along the way if needed

oh and you need to remove the big C clip on the main shaft
(i have pics too)
