question? Smoking

ok on my car when i start it in the morning or after it sits for a while it smokes ALOT. but after about 45 seconds or so it goes away what could cause this?
i was thinking that the oil metering injectors might be slowly dripping oil in the rotorhousing. for some reason im thinking it might be a oil injector ither missing or a damaged ring that goes between the block and the injector. what do you guys think. also i talked with the mazda dealership and they told me if my motor was bad that if i turned the ac on and the engine died the motor was bad and i did that so everything is all good. any thoughts on this as well?

My car usually smokes for a bit til its warmed up. I dont know how bad your smoking is but I think this is a regular thing for ROTARIES BECAUSE THEY RUN SO RICH. dunno?

I would assume it's your fuel injectors but it depends on what color it is.

when i had my first gen whenever it was cold out it would smoke terrably bad realllllly white and then it would stop once it warmed up i did some searching and i found that it basicly means your motor is getting worn one of the rotor seals or somthing funky and it really wasnt a bad thing because it was just leting oil by untill the seals heated up enuff to seal again...and that oil was supposedly helping lube the rotor when it was cold.........however all of that could just be bullsh!t cuz i really dont know what im talking about half the time hahahaha my car always ran strong tho and i drove it hard untill i sold it and it was wrecked 2 days later..... sad day but i scored on a second gen after that so i am still happy.... good luck with your hoopD!!!

it's usually just your fuel injectors and if it's not running horribly i would just run some mmo through it occasionally because rotaries are notorious for getting **** built up on the injectors. but ey' thats just me otherwise you could have your injectors rebuilt for pretty cheap or if you're a baller you could just buy new injectors but... i'm no baller so i would try some mmo first.
