I dont know if its the deck that is faulty(its an old x-plod). It works when car is off, but shuts off n on when i start the car.
My question is about the yellow wire from the deck harness. Right now i have the yellow(battery) wire running to the leading coil, where else could it be ran?
Also, when i ground the antena wire the antena comes up but wont go back down when i un-ground it. can the antena be plugged in into the cd deck harness?
I cant afford to pay to get it installed, so i need to figure out this little issues.

 

The antenna is negative switched. Your radio has a positive switching wire. You need to get a SPST relay and wire it so that the radio switches the antenna wire to ground.
