question for the innovate wideband users and others that can help...

i bought the wideband and guage from the group buy on this forum and love it...however i now am not runnin the stock O2 sensor for the ECU and did not make 2 bungs for the stock O2 sensor...i read that we can use the wideband also as a narrow band.. is it capable of using it both as a narrow band and a wideband at the same time?? i get really rich spots at half throttle that mt SAFC II cannot compensate for and feel i need to hook up my narrow band back to the ECU... i think this would also help my gas mielage as its very horrible... will hooking back up the narrow band screw up anything?? i thiuhgt about just hooking the wires from the wideband to the ECU pinnouts for the narrow band....is this going to make my car run better??? or should i not hook up a narrow band to the ECU ???

The narrowband is only in use during closed loop on the stock ECU. You need to hook up the NBsim line from your WB to your ECU, it simulates the 1v range that most NB's use. DO NOT try to just hook up the widebands output to it! Most wideband outputs are simply the 0-5v curve and not a 0-1v, you need to actually find the NBsim line (if it even has one)

Those dreadful rich spots won't be changed at all unless it's when you're at cruise. If it's under throttle, the o2 sensor won't do anything for you.

after some research i found this wideband can be used both as narrow and a wideband at the same time...just need to hook the analog wire to the ECU...hoping this will save some fuel if it dont work ill just unhook it is all....
