Question on FCs

I've just recently come into the market to buy an RX-7, and have some questions on Gen 2s.. I keep seeing TII, S4, S5, etc. and I don't know what all these mean.. Could someone please explain what FCs were available and the difference between them? Thanks a lot.

FCs were available from 1986-1991/92.

86-88 are also called S4 (Series 4)

89-91/92 are also called S5

factory turbocharged FCs were called TurboII

why the II? because in Japan, there were turbo FB (1st gen) models.

S5 FCs are considered better than the S4 models, because they are newer, make more power stock, have better interiors, and more desirable styling.
