Ok, I'm looking at doing a new exhaust setup on my 87 TII. The only thing I've really done so far is gut the main cat. I've noticed an increase in responsiveness but it's also ALOT louder. And I've also seen this thing made by Racing Beat called a presilencer. Is that like a midpipe with silencing material on the inside? Would it be big enough for a custom 3 inch turbo back exhaust? Or would I just better be better off doing a downpipe, midpipe, and single back to a universal muffler?

 

I'm pretty sure the presilencer isn't going to fit. The only presilencer that RB makes (that I know of) is 2.5 inches ID. I'm going with the same setup. A straight through 3 inch turbo back exhaust to a universal N1 muffler. I'll just have to keep it quiet by laying off the gas.
