GM didn't make any production Fieros with V8's stock. Only 2.5 pushrod I4 and 2.8 pushrod V6. I think it's the same fan for both. I don't know if they use the stock fan when doing 350 conversions or not.

I have had mine in place over a year now, and have had no problems, as noted above.

Way to bring up a dead post instead of searching God knows there hasnt been a thousand threads within the past few weeks about E-fans. And there were no (stock production anyway..) 8 cylinder Fieros.

Sorry if I sounded like I dick, just messing with you, but seriosly there have been a multitute of threads about the pros and cons of E-fans, what fans to get, bla bla bla. Do a search and you shall recieve..

Sorry guys but there is some good info in here so i am bumping this old old thread. I am looking into an elec. fan conversion considering that i recently found out that my clutch fan just too a ****. In the hot part of the day with the AC on she gets HOT!.....so it is time to look into an elc fan option. I need to make a run by my local pick and pull and find either a taurus or fiero fan.

edit: Whoops! i am in the wrong froum. I thought this was the 1st gen section for a moment. SOrry abou that!

Don't bother with the Fiero fan. Just find a fan from any mid to late 90s GM front wheel drive. Oldsmobile, Pontiac Grand Am, Pontiac 6000, etc. Much easier to find and works just as well. The shroud happens to fit the FC rad perfectly.
