Question: Cover and Electric thingy on Front Struts

when i first bought my car i saw these weird like Strut covers paired with some electric thing that sits on the top of the Strut Towers in the front...

i didnt care for it much then..

i put on my strut bar like 2 days ago... and had the same question once agian...

so my question is what are they and what do they do...?

btw i searched....didnt find squat..

I dont know but my guess would be the AAS system?¿ i dont really know...just my guess

Its the adjusting suspension. Should be a switch on your center console. Says sports and racing i think. Mine had it but i up graded to KYB struts all around so i tore it all out.

well thats what i thought too.. but since its all wired and junk.. why would mazda go to all that trouble if it doesnt work anyways?

its your AAS auto adjusting suspension motors. if you notice that behind your shifter there are two buttons. usually after all these years, they arent as effective as they were brand new. If you still want to maintain the adjustabilitly id change my shocks to tokiko illuminas or agx's -alex

Marketing gimmic. Would u rather have a suspension or a AUTOMATIC ADJUSTING SYSTEM.....see...it got u interested
