question on the clutch

i have a question about my clutch as far as if its really slipping or worn out or anything else. its the factory clutch so its old but whenever i get to about 4 to 5k rpm i can pop the clutch but my car slowly starts going. is that slipping? might sound retarded but when i drive normal theres no prob. also when i shift at high rpms it seems ok.
any thoughts? (want to know so maybei can start saving for a new one
thanks.

If your car is sitting still and you rev it to 5000 and drop the stock clutch, it is most likely going to slip.

I put a new stock clutch in my car last spring and I went autocrossing almost every weekend all summer. When I launched, I could drop the clutch at 3000 RPMs and spin the tires.
