i i heard that if injectors are stored the wrong way then they will drie out or soemthing and go bad. is there any truth to this or is there anything i need to lokk for when buying used injectors?

Any used injector should be cleaned professionally before installation in your car, so it really doesn't matter. But yes, if injectors are stored improperly they can be damaged from contaminates. Also, the rubber seals will dry out. But this usually doesn't happen, and those rubber seals should ALWAYS be replaced when you install injectors.

 

Don't buy old used injectors!

They sell Python remanufactured injectors cheap. They are fully tested, and come with all new pintle caps and O-rings.

If you buy a used set you pay $$ for the set, then have to send them out to be cleand and balanced for $$ each, and then you have to buy new O-rings and pintle caps (if the cleaning place does not give them to you). So why waste the time and money, when you can get Python remanufactured ones that are even warrantied for a year.
