question on bac valve with a fmic

Okay, so i just installed the oldskool trust/greddy fmic on my fc and was wondering what i do with the hose thats suppose to go from the stock charge pipe to the bac valve? I'm not sure there to route that hose since the charge pipe isn't there anymore. Anyone know?? Right now, i have the charge pipe on because i'm not sure where to put the other end of the hose, but the charge pipe is on at an angle and not sitting right, so i think the boost is leaking. Please help. Thanks!

You could buy a large NPT fitting, drill and tap a hole somewhere on the intercooler piping, then attach the hose there. Or you can have a piece of pipe welded on. Wherever you choose to get the air from, it must be after the AFM & before the throttle plates.

What does a boost controller have to do with the BAC? The ECU uses the BAC to stabilize the idle, so the engine doesn't practically die any time a load is placed on it.

I'm in the same boat as you .... I have the new greddy kit and about to install any day now. Not very impressed that I have to drill into my nice piping, should have been done from the factory.
