question about turbo manifold spacer

Im installing a to4e turbo and the compressor housing is a tad bit too big that it is hitting the lower intake manifold. I do not want to grind the compressor housing nor the intake manifold.

I am thinking of just getting a spacer, if there is one.
From what I am seeing there is two ways to do it.
Get a spacer for the turbo manifold to the turbo, or get a flange for the engine to turbo manifold.

Which way would be best, and if going for the engine to turbo manifold, would it have to be specific to turbo, or can I get a n/a flange from like racing beat or so.

I installed the turbo and there is a half inch to 1/4 inch gap on top between the turbo manifold and the turbine housing. So if I get a half inch spacer/flange it should do the trick right?

I know I need longer studs, already got that covered.

sorry misread. which way is more cost effective. im sure a standard t3 t4 gasket would be cheaper than our manifold gaskets. which way spaced would have it sit better

There'd be less stress on the studs if you spaced the turbo as opposed to the manifold. Perhaps a negligible amount
