hey guys im new to the site. and just bought a 1990 gxl rx7. 5 speed manuel

what year transmission are the same. so far the only thing i have been able to find are trannys for 1988. i was told they are diffent. can you guys give me some info any would be helpfull

What i do know is that s4 and s5 turbo transmissions are same pretty much. Im not sure if you can mix s4 and s5 na trannys. If you find one, see if your yoke fits it. thats about the only problem i can see. Yoke difference.

non turbo trannys are the same bolt pattern and size and are interchangeable. Gearing and syncros are really the only differences
