question about stuck apex seals

i removed my engine yesterday and am in the process of getting my stuck apex seals un stuck. my question is once they get moving how much should it be? some of them already move but i dont know if it is enough. and how hard can i push on them before damaging them or am i even strong enough?

i already know about the towing the car at about 30 mph in 3rd gear and letting the clutch out. i dont want to do that so please dont suggest it.

I don't remember the exact freeplay, but they will move in several MM. You could in theory press hard enough to flatten the springs, but I doubt very much that's possible with the engine assembled.

NEVER, EVER tow start a vehicle. Push start it instead, so that the tow vehicle doesn't get rear ended with the car under tow starts up.

I assume you have tried carb cleaner to dissolve the carbon and gunk causing the seals to stick?

yes i have tried carb cleaner and right now i have it baithing in ATF. i was going to use kerosine, but we are out. on the front rotor 2 of the seals are working well but one is pretty stuck. and the back all three are stuck. what do you guys recomend for getting them moving if the stuff i have tried doesnt work? it is going to sit all week with the ATF still in there so hopefully that will help.
