question about oxygen sensor
quick question guys would it be better to tie in the 0-5 output on an AEM wideband to the factory harness or leave it connected to the factory 02 sensor?
Thanks

It will produce the same result. I am not familiar with the AEM, but if it allows you two outputs, one for your wideband gauge, and the other for the ECU, then you have no problems doing it this way. You can get rid of the stock narrowband if you go this route.
If however it only has one output, and you switch it to show narrowband instead of wideband in order to connect it to the stock ECU, then that would be a waste of space and $$$.
Regardless, if you have a working narrowband O2, and you want to cut up the harness just to hook in your wideband doing the same thing the narrowband is doing, I would suggest leaving it as is instead of cutting up a nice factory harness.

Actually, you'd need a 0-1V output to replace the stock 02 sensor. If you hook a 0-5V wire up to the ECU, it won't know what to do with it. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure that the AEM has a 0-1V output.
Yes, I over read the 0-5V, like RR88 said, you will need a 0-1V output. If it is like the wideband I have used, usually in the software you can specify the voltage you want to output for particular AFR's, but then again, your using an AEM.
