Question about Needle Bearings/ Vibrations

I have a buddy who just bought an 1987 Turbo 2. His car didn't have a front pulley on it when he picked it up and I gave him my spare pulley and we started the car up, the car was vibrating pretty bad and after a while the front pulley started leaking a very small amount of oil out of the 19mm bolt area (inside the pulley not at the seal behind it).

I am assuming that the Torrington Bearing dropped at some time while the pulley was off and when we torqued the main pulley bolt back on we crushed it.. Is it possible that that would be the cause of the vibration? If so I can help him replace the bearing, but what will fix the oil leak at the 19mm bolt? I looked at the O ring and it looks fine..

Also Can anyone post up the order and a picture of the spring loaded parts that fit in the eshaft behind the pulley.?

Thanks for your insight.

There's a good chance the dropped down torrington bearing is the cause of the vibration. Front cover has to come off to fix that. Just an opinion. No way to be positive...................well I take that back there is a way but nobody on this forum does it for UNknown reasons.

You remove the front hub bolt. The 17/19 mm one. Then make a measurement thats given in the FSM. This measurement is designed to figure out if the bearing has dropped or not.

So did a little tinkering.. Turns out it was not the bearings, they were sitting pretty in thier perspective places.. Apparently the woodruff key wasn't in the counterweight...
