Been thinking a lot about battery relocation behind the passenger seat. Better weight distribution, yes but what about after I've replaced my steel hood with aluminum, removed my p.s. assembly and removed a ton of other emissions garbage under my hood? Suddenly it seems like a bad idea...

Would I be better off leaving the battery where it is to maintain my weight distribution ratio? Thanks ~rich

 

Relocation is still a good idea.
It's still ahead of the rear axle, and nearer the center of the car.
You are improving the polar moment of inertia.
