Question about housings
the question is basically whether or not it is good to interchange housings on a motor?
I bought the motor a little while back and looking at it the other day, it looks like the housings dont match. My front housing looks like a-spec s4 and rear is s5 or some kind of combo, aspec with jspec. I was told that it might interfere with the firing of the spark plugs b/c the spark plug hole could be slightly off.
From what i can tell just looking at them is that the front housing is smooth at the bottom where it kicks out and meets the oit pan. My rear housing has a raised line accross it. ( maybe some one knows them by physical description.
Any insight on the situation ?!?!?

S5 housings will have a knock sensor, S4's will not.
Most people advise against using 1 s4 and 1 s5 due to the change in spark timing between s4's and s5's. You can, however, use 2 S5's on an S4 motor and two S4's on a S5 motor.
