Question about FC's

Hey guys, I was doin some research on the Fc turbo and there seems to be a difference in horsepower for the 86-87 and the 88-91. The 86 & 87 are called TI and the 88-91 are called TII. With this difference in horsepower is there a difference in the chasis itself? I mean are the body styles different, is there any differences in each of them although they are both Second Gen.

Thanks
Smokems

The 86-88 is Series 4 and the 89-91 is Series 5.

There are differences. Engine wise the S5 has higher compression, a bigger turbo and a few other things, which results in more power.

Now that you know the difference in models you can search this forum for heaps of info.

not really any difference in body. Take a look at the sticky at the top to find all the differences between the different years.
