question about the clutch

hi, i am a little concerned about the car i just bought. the guy i bought the car from said he changed the clutch when he got it, which was 2 years ago. however, he has since put on about 90K miles on on it.

the clutch does not lag, but i am concerned about the life it has left. should i start saving up in case i need it replaced? thx

unless it's slipping much, don't worry about it... test it to see if it does slip: put it into a fairly high gear while cruising at a moderate speed (so that the RPMs are sitting at about 2500) and then get on the gas, if the engine RPM increases or spikes while speed does not increase (watch the needles) then the clutch is on the way out...
