I am going to be rebuilding my engine and doing a mild bridge-port and also putting a holley carb on it. I also am going to have the smog off of it, and lightweight pulleys, there is no ps, and with headers and exhaust. how much hp do you think i will get???

Incase you couldn't tell its sarcasm. There is no way we can tell what your HP will be like. A lot of factors are going to do a lot to change HP figures. Carb selection, tunning, exhaust design, port style, port size, compression ratio, etc.

A mild bridge port (I assume you mean a half bridge port? just the side plates not the intermediate?) with a half decent tunned exhaust should give you about 100-110(genuine)Kw's at the wheels, I dunno what that is in HP. Depending on what rotors are used, how good the porting is, what your intake manifold is like, what holley (why a holley?? why not a webber??) and it also might depend on a million bazillion other variables.

No its more like 234.59.

Thats alot of mods, are you doing this yourself or paying. The holley mod can be especially tricky.

Based on this further information I feel you should expect 90-100 genuine rear wheel kilowatts...

Then again, some people call me too skeptical about people that alegedly "know what they're doing".....

<insert joke from a previous thread>
But who am I to talk on this free public forum about other mechanics I've never seen the work of before. I should probably just tell this person that he should expect 160rwkws and then when he gets 60rwkw's less I'll have to deal with that on my mind that I told him that a bridgeport should get 160rwkws, when what I really ment was a big well developed brideport with a good tunned intake and exhaust would get about that.
</insert joke from a previous thread>

Hrmm... I think nathy wathy has had one too many tooheys extra dry's for tonight forum posting antics, my bad.......

-Cheers Nathan.

*edited because of a few alcohol induced typos, theres probably more*
