Q for you guys wanting fire *****

I was just wondering if all you guys wanting to shoot fireballs have your afterburn valve still in? I dont and can shoot very small flames out the back. I havent pushed my TII but I pluged it, until I get the block off plate. Just curious.

Call me stupid, but whats an afterburn valve? My TII will shoot about 3' flames out of both pipes.

Full exhaust and enough fuel to support the exhaust.

open exhaust...it's easier with some type of fuel management...but it's doable just with the full exhaust

Well, some folks still can't throw flames w/o cats. I couldn't do it till I added my RB header, presilencer, and single N1 catback. I tried w/ gutted cats and the N1, and just backfires. W/ the full exhaust, flame on.

Straight pipes = Every cop in a 10 mile radius comin after ya, and finding out that you have a COMPLETLY illegal exhaust, filing with the EPA, and you paying up to $10k in fines and 5 years in jail for a environmental hazzard. Not a good idea. At the very least, it = a nice big fat ticket. At least w/ a presilencer, you can play it off as a high flow cat. Trust me, it works

I'm running a straight pipe, but I don't have a header or it would be ridiculously loud - I get flames after left off at WOT (about 8-12in from what I've been told numerous times). I shift to damn fast for it to flame between gears at WOT.

The afterburn valve is above the exhaust manifold. Its supposto let air into the exhaust on decel to burn excess fuel in the exh instead of out.

i shoot flames too not as big as some others cuz i got the old style HKS exhuast which has baffles in it to quite my car down but i got stright 3 inch piping. i get about 8 -12 inch flames on the usual let off after WOT. some people say during the nite you can see in my mufflers and its like the glow on the inside then when i let off a big flame comes out both sides.

formula for rotary fire---open exhaust and lots of fuel(check sig). turbos seem to flame better than N/As. Ive had reports of popping 3-4 foot flames and ive seen the flames flutter up to my back window between shifts. between shifts theyre the coolest. no sound, just watch the back of the car light up see the tips come around the side and back of the car and smile cuz you know the guy behind you is tripped out
