purchasing stock exhaust and pipe

well since my exhaust system has leaks everywhere I've decided to purchase a stock Y pipe and two new stock mufflers from my local car parts store, this will cost me over 400$ Canadian.

What do you guys think? I know, There won't be any major HP or airflow benefits going with stock but right now I just wanna pass emissions and be a daily driver. I'm not into performace parts or racing around, I just want to drive and have fun and Improve my standard transmission technique.

Also its easier to install the stock parts than to purchase new mufflers that need to be custom fitted at a garage which will cost me more $$$$.

to pass emissions going with the stock exhaust system would be best but you can toss on an rb header instead of the old exhaust manifold on the stock system and help your performance a little bit

Racing beat has a cat-back exhaust setup that I believe bolts up to the stock locations and hangers. It also looks and sounds great.

But it would cost about $668 Canadian ($576 US) plus shipping.

That does look nice but does it require custom fitting between the pipes?

just make sure you keep your main cat, when/if you install the header it removes your precats also remember the car is almost 20yrs old and even with a stock setup they can fail the E-test
