Pulsation Damper replacement writeup

Greetings guys. A few days ago I was lucky enough to catch my Pulsation Damper leaking gasoline before it grew into a full fledged engine fire that wouldive very well totaled my car and my engine bay. I was fortunate enough to catch it just as it started to smoke, and prevented any damage.

Many 2nd gen owners have this problem, and a great deal of them don't know where/what a Pulsation Damper (also called PD) is.

My goal of this is to create a detailed writeup for you guys that have never changed one before, so I can expedite the process for you rather quickly.

Below, Is a brand new Pulsation Damper for an S4 N/A Rx7.

To find your Pulsation Damper on your S4 engine, Look at the coolant cap next to the alternator, slightly behind that tucked away under the intake manifold, you will see yours (hint, look for the big plastic cap).

I'll begin to publish the writeup as I gather the pictures together, which should be by this evening, stay tuned!
