pulley lubrication

pulley lubrication

what should i use to lube the pulleys?
the power steering pulley is making a sssshhh ssssshhh sound when the engine is one?

ie grease or oil?

I would think your Bearing Is gone causing this shreiking sound. For It's last bit of life, I would try packing Insome White Lithium Grease at the bearing.

My car makes the same sound when u rev it up. Where is the bearing that you are talking about?

In the center of the Pulley.

If its the idler pulley(s), you can carefully pry the side seal off the bearing, put in some fresh grease, and push the seal back on. I did this a few months ago and the noise hasnt come back at all.
