Well today I got my tranny out today. I was having problems with second gear so not that I have the motor rebuilt, I figure that I should have a good tranny also.
I also took off the exhuast as one piece. And it was toast, the Main cat had a hole in it, both the mufflers were rusted to hell. So now I am going to drive it with just the box manifold and have my racing beat header installed along with a custom exhaust. And this is where I have a question. I want to put a un-collected header on and collect it a little further away from the ports. But how far away can I put the high flow cat and have it come up to temp fairly quick.
