Pulled dead tranny today. lots of pics and movie, no 56k
Well, my transmission is stuck in reverse (as some of you may already know) so I pulled it out today. It took me about 3 and a half hours to do (ive never do this before 
) I was hoping I could somehow fix the transmission without having to buy a complete new (used) one.
Here are some of the pics just for fun, I guess.
My friend who helped me lower it, and his Sr20 nx (roommate/friend):
My exhaust:
Notice how the hole where the shifter is supposed to go into, is stuck in reverse (coincidence my car is backed into the driveway? No.) It will not move, if anybody has an y comments on this or ides to fix, feel free to share... im going to take the tranny apart acording to the FSM any way:
My support; four 2 ton jacks (I dont want to die, especially by being crushed by my own vert):

yup,, its just peened its normal
but your throw out bearing looks trashed.
the idler gear inside the tranny might be tweaked. that might be why your stuck in reverse

Exhaust, Greddy evolution replicas, with a RB silencer and headers, custom catback piping, camera is an olympus 520 zoom 2 megapixel.
