PSA: Pull your coils off the car and clean them up.
I just pulled the coils from my GXL so I could clean them with the wire brush and paint the mounting brackets so they were gold again.
After removing the packs from the aluminum brackets (each pack has four screws) I found that the strip of metal that goes around the underside where it mounts to the bracket was pretty damn rusted and not making proper contact with the bracket so the pack wasn't grounded as well as it could be.
I used the wire brush to clean those puppies up and reflowed the solder points in the base just for good measure, painted the base plates (leaving the chassis and base contact point clean of paint for proper grounding) and put it all back together.
I'm not sure how much this helps since my car is still holed up for the winter, but it may help if you're having ignition, hesitation, or other little problems. I sure didn't expect those strips to be so cruddy.

We actually talked about this months ago.
