Proud New owner of an 89

I just got my 89 this past saturday, ive been sitting around reading anything i can posibly cram into my head tryign to figure out where i want to start

the suspension is already updated, so is the exhaust, its got a solid rebuilt n/a motor in it, maybe 20k on it at the most

IT definately going to need a paint job sometime over winter, there a good ammount of rust underneath which is probably where im going to start..before it gets cold out

hm.. what else

nothing major, i know i need a new brake master cylinder, the smog pump is pretty much dead, not much ocoming from that, it idles pretty low, around 400 rpm when starting up.. closer to 7 after ive ran i for a bit

its gt a cat back on it, so im told, i dont know much about this, cani put a header on with that??

im thinking i might take the emissions off

all the fuel lines are stainless steel , the clutch is brand new, steel lines on that

anywqayas, any suggestions? im THINKING i might want to save uop spme money over the next couple months and buy a new 13bt from atkins, maybe ported? from what i read ill just need a new wire harness, i believe the kid i got the car form used to have a 13bt in there but sold it, and the car might have come with the harness, i got alot of spare parts with it

anyways onto some pics

thanks for checking out my car, im sure il be posting alot more in this section,i plan on doing alot more work to this car to bring it up to my standards ..dont worry i DO know how to use the search funtion...haha

represent for the 89s. what's color's your interior? i like the way the 7 looks w/o/ spoiler. my two cents: drop it a bit more or get a tire with a bigger sidewall. no offense intended whatsoever. rock on!

You should build a heat shield box around the air filter. Sucking in hot air from the engine bay does not help power.

Nice car, I dunno if it's the color or what but it looks good w/o the spoiler. My doesn't have one and I don't like it, but it's a silvery blue color.
