Proportioning value backet location

I have a 1988 Turbo II w/o anti-lock brakes. I made a rookie mistake and did not take pictures when I removed the brake master cylinder and booster. Now I am reinstalling everything and I do not know if the proportioning value bracket goes between the booster and the master cylinder or in front of the master cylinder. The diagram in section 11 of the factory service manual page 11-13 seems to imply it goes between, but I think the better detail is probably shown on the diagram on page 11-19 which is always messed up in any of the online resources I have found. So I looked at the equivalent diagram in the 1989 FSM (page P-17) and it shows the bracket in front of the master cylinder. I found videos on youtube that show it in either location. The bracket itself will fit in either location, but I would like to install it correctly as it was from the factory. Any help is appreciated!

I like to use the part manual for stuff like this I don't know about. Look at page 1 - J15 right side is turbo.

Looks like it goes on the outside. So, mate the master cylinder first.

Bring a trailer is handy too, this one is non ABS, but

Prop Valve bolts to a bracket that then becomes U shaped, and uses the master cylinder nuts to attach it
