Properly setting greddy boost controller
I have a street ported s4 with racing beat turboback (shouldnt make a difference between cars but just putting it out there).
I recently hookde up an E-01 and would like to know some pointers from you guys (guys with profec b spec 2 also chime in they are basically identical.
1. What's a good, safe amount of boost to run? I have it set at 8psi and it creeps to 8.5 every so often. (I have the safety set up so it kicks it down 10% if it creeps to 10psi).
2. Can someone explain the "start" function for me... the manual dictates that ti should be 2.8 psi lower then the set psi level but I really don't understand the concept of this or what it actually is (greddy did a bad job at explaining in the manual lol)
3. Gain - I understand the concept behind it .. but can someone go more in depth on it? I currently have mine set to 10 and don't know where to adjust it too.
As it sits now im spooling stock psi until around 3600ish where it then fully spools up to 8-8.5psi ... is this how our cars normally act or does the e-01 need to be adjusted more?
