hey guys a while back i purchased an 1988 TUrboII mostly orignal other than exhaust and intake well the car ran great for about 5 to 6 months of hard driving (i have a heavy heavy foot) and well not to long ago a heater hose blew frying the coolant seals.. well now that the motors out i plan to go all out with the car and make it into a nice street race car.... i got some pics of how its currently going and how much ive done...IF ANYONE COULD HOST THE PICS PLEASE POST!
heres a list of a few things i plan to do

New T04B turbo
SS oil cooler lines
Aluminum Radiator
FMIC
720 secondarys
walbro 255lph
apexi safc
turbonetics manual boost controller
SS fuel lines
AN fittings for fuel
Polish UIM,LIM,Powersterring and AC bracket
Paint Car
Body work
Paint Pulleys and misc parts in red (match car)
APC Racing Seats (red)
Short Shifter
Rear Strut Bar
4 or 6 point harness (for seats)
Alpine Speakers
Nice Radio
Some Autometer gauges (water temp,oil temp,oil pressure)
and maybe if i can afford it Roll Cage maybe a 4 to 6 point

thats where im heading after all that and the car is driving nice ill save up the cash and go standalone not yet which brand..

i thought i would give the forums a heads up on what im doing and see how it goes..

you can always use imagestation....

 

Forget the seats/harness/safc/radio/speakers and go with a standalone.

 

well speakers and radio im getting free SAFC i got for $100 cant go wrong there and the seats and harness havent gotten yet but i doubt just those two can get me the standalone lol... here are some pics... i just emailed them
the FMIC looks like its off it is because of some metal bracket that got in the way but i just fixed it and rewelded it so its straight now ..
the motor with the red paint was the one that was in the car im going to rebuild it but use the housing from the other motor... (better shape)
and just some pics of the car... i painted the rims with the new Dupont Rim Paint (gun metal grey) cause the rims had a bunch of scractches n stuff...

Good to see a T2 brought back to life instead of being parted out .

 

actually i crashed the car not to long ago some idiot in a honda was speeding tryed to pass my on the left while i was making a left and completely side swiped me i replaced the door and fixed the bent door hinges i was planning on parting it out but this is the first FC ive ran into that all gauges work coorectly... hasnt been rigged.... and was mostly orignal so i decided to fix the car myself so it can still keep the clean title and now im just going to go all out with the car...

dont fell bad Felix im 17 ive owned 3 FC's had the chance for a 94 FD but turned it down because the fc has more style and is MUCH MUCH more comfortable sry if someone thinks differently but thats what i think... neways my 2nd fc had about 14 different colors the guy i bought it from thought it would be nice to invite a couple of friends over and have each friend spray paint a different color on the car the car looked like a bag of skittles but hey it had a freshly rebuild motor and was boosting so it was a boosted bag of skittles
