project expectations

i am about to start the project soon in a couple weeks. the car has blown apex seals, and i beleive it is hydro locked. im not sure how long its been sitting. i was wondering what i should expect to have to change out. i already know a new engine is going to be needed. i have that one taken care of. what headaches, joys, heart breaks, and what not should i expect out of this. oh yeah it is an 87 turbo II. any info would be appreciated. i want to know what im getting myself into good and bad.

1.) Rotarys don't hydro lock.
2.) If it did carbon lock, ****.

are you rebuilding or dropping a new engine?

then i beleive its carbon locked. im going to drop in a new one. me and my friends are going to use the old 13b to practice rebuild so we can gain som knowledge and what not. ive never worked on rotaries before. im paying roughly $500 for the car with the old engine and turbo. if the turbo is still good then im looking to maybe sell it or use it as a backup. what do you guys reccomend.
