Project car questions

iv just recently bought another rx-7(88) and i was wondering what it would take to convert it into a TII. the motor has already been blown so i have to rebuild anyways. i would like to do this all myself but i was just trying to see what im getting myself into first. any advise would be greatly appreciated. also the names of any good shops in Southern California. thanks

There's a big writeup on this with pictures. Do a search for TII swap or conversion in this section or the 2nd gen archive section and you should see it.

He obviously doens't know what he's talking about. You need to change the engine, transmission, wiring, ecu, and a option is the rear diff. Have fun!

I've heard a minor turbo bolt on is ok (ie 3-5 PSI), but anything after this and you'll run into fuel delivery problems, lack of boost control, clutches slipping, etc..

atkins sells a bolt on supercharger for the 13b NA engine. That converts to a caborated setup I believe.
