Project car questions
iv just recently bought another rx-7(88) and i was wondering what it would take to convert it into a TII. the motor has already been blown so i have to rebuild anyways. i would like to do this all myself but i was just trying to see what im getting myself into first. any advise would be greatly appreciated. also the names of any good shops in Southern California. thanks

yea but is it really true that i need to change the drivetrain?? i was told by a guy who turns rotary engines into sandrails that i can just slap a turbo on there and change the computer. just trying to confirm what he said.

I've heard a minor turbo bolt on is ok (ie 3-5 PSI), but anything after this and you'll run into fuel delivery problems, lack of boost control, clutches slipping, etc..
atkins sells a bolt on supercharger for the 13b NA engine. That converts to a caborated setup I believe.
