i just picked up my 87 t2 , and after having a 91 na , i know that on 87's the needle should only go up to about 1/4 of the way. and on the 91 it should be no higher than half. but is this too high ??? im just worried cuz i dont wanna blow her up yet
On my car, anyways, in which the entire cooling system is less than about a year old, at highway speeds she would read a little less than 1/4 at 75-80 degrees...And that's with the e-fan off...
so i should be ok ?i mean im probobly gonna swap out the theromostat and flush the system anyway since i just bought the car and i wanna tune it up and replace what i can so i know that it was done.
the reason i ask is just that it looked a little higher than 1/4 up . thats why i asked
