Question Problems with pressure plate and disk... need help

Ok, here's the problem:
I just installed a new ACT Xtreem clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and flywheel. The clutch will not disengage. I'm getting full throw, the fork is good, and the whole hydrolic system has been replaced. Any suggestions... I'll tell you if its been checked already.

I posted this question in the race car tech part already, but I dono if some people only stick to certain parts of the forum... so here it is again. Thanks for the input.

Is the friction plate facing the right way? Are you absolutely sure the hydraulics are working properly(verify by watching the slave pushing the fork)? Is the throwout bearing mounted to the fork properly?

Friction plate is correct, hydrolics are working great (new master cylinder), and yes I can see them working. I'll check the throwout bearing being mounted to the fork... but I've now completely taking the tranny out twice, remounted everything twice, etc. I think there's something wrong with the pressure plate, but I wouldn't know what the symtoms of that include. If the pressure plate's the problem, then is there anything in particular that would/wouldn't be happening? (Other then the obvious) The problem is that I'm almost sure everything's mounted correctly, which leads me to broken parts, and yet they're brand new too.

Thanks for the suggestions... keep them coming.

Do the "fingers" of the pressure plate sit the same distance as the stock setup? Maybe the TO bearing aint "pushing" it far enough to disengage the clutch disk?

you have a good pilot bearing too right? I would check that the slave cylinder is pushing the release fork far enough. Get under there with a mirror and flash light while someone pushes the clutch pedal. (with the car off of course )

Slave is good, checked that and we're getting full throw, but it's worth another shot. I'll check the fingers of the pressure plate, didn't think of that one.
