Problems with a possible purchase
I found an '87 for sale thats in great shape (engine wise) however it has some electrical problems and the interior is shot.
Basically anything that was cloth in the interior needs replaced.
The headlights turn on, but won't pop up (not sure yet if its the motor or the wiring), wipers don't work, and a few other electrical problems.
Its also a very nasty green color (not in bad shape, just kinda an ugly color).
I can get this for under $500, but kinda curious as to what it would cost to bring it up to "acceptable" specs.
I can handle doing the interior work myself, and the electrical, but I'm not real good with engine work.
So does anyone think this would be a wise purchase?

How many miles, and hows the rubber on the car?
Both those would influence my purchase ...
$500 is a very good price if the car runs, but if the miles were much over 200k mile I would offer only $300.
