Problems again...no fuel???
Okay so the other day I went to let my car warm up and it died after a few min. of idling, however it started again and I drove it around fo like three hours, later that night I went to run an errand and it died on me in the middle of an intersection but after a few minutes it started again and I was able to get it home but only after dying one more time. The next day I went to start it and noticed the smaller hose to the charcoal canister was unhooked, I hooked it back up and it started(???). I drove it all day without fault, however the next day (today) I went to start it this morning and it wouldn't. It would just crank over, I pulled the plugs out and they were as dry as a bean (thought I might have flooded it, did smell some gas in the engine bay) I know I am getting spark, but I'm not sure about fuel. After awhile I went to start it and after 5 min of playing it finally did NOTE: I couldn't smell gas at all until a few seconds before it started, however me being the stupid person I am forgot I left it in gear and stalled it. I couldn't get it to start after that and still can't....no smell of gas either. I am pretty sure it's not my fuel pump and they usually don't just randomly fail right? I had the car running great the night before. I am sorry if this is confusing, just trying to find out what the heck is going on, I would really appreciate the help.

Have you changed your fuel filter? I had a problem like this with a supra, it would still run, but died alot like it was running out of fuel. Does it feel like it is running out of fuel? Also have you recently changed your fuel pump or is the same one since the car was new?

Jumper the yellow two socket connector.
Key to ON, engine OFF.
Either get a 19mm wrench and just break(undo a touch) the banjo bolt on the aft end of the secondary fuel rail to see if fuel sprays out.
Or after the pump has run for several seconds with the jumper in, put the key Off and pull the pressure line off the engine. Fuel should spray just as the line comes off, showing that you had pressure in the fuel rail.
Always write the model of the car in the post so we don't have to muck around figuring what car you have.

Okay so pump was on and I checked the fuel pump pressure and system pressure both were great, I changed the fuel filter and noticed the old one seemed clogged, when I did it started up, so I thought I solved my problem, only for it to die on the way home, I towed it back and I checked for spark, had spark. So had to to say I was a bit confused. I pulled the afm and it ran (but not very well obviously) then I put it back in, but it wouldn't start. I checked for spark...nothing. So I went back to the last thing I touched, I pulled the tape off the wires and noticed the guy had repaired or possibly replaced one (I think), but all he did was tape it. So here I have this wire I can pull apart by hand and is super loose, needless to say I fixed the wire and from what I have seen in the last month the last owner didn't have basic common sense. Anyways just wanted to say I found the problem and thanks for the help.
