Problem with steering?
Ok now I got everything else fixed its time to move to this problem.
Ok here goes, for about the first 15 minutes of driving when cold. I get a rattling type of sound when turn the steering wheel 1/4 turn left or right? It only does it when its cold, and doesnt do it above 10 mph. It will even do it when sitting still. Doesnt sound like a poping, such as a ball joint, tie rod, or anything like that. It kinda sounds like a metal rod rattling sound. Its weird. I bought the car and knew it had this problem but didnt think much of it, but its in my way to a 100% car.
By the way the car is a 88 vert (all stock) N/A

It's your pillow ball mounts. The things that your front struts rest in at the top, they just need a little more grease.
When you turn the wheel the struts turn a little with them, and since they don't have enough grease they make some noise in the cold.
Leaving it as it is isn't going to hurt anything. My car does it too when it's really cold outside. The first time I heard it I freaked out, and it was odd because it only did it when it was cold outside.

Really? Cuz it really didnt sound like a rubber to metal noise. Or rubber to rubber for that matter, sounds like someone taping a lenght of thin metal tubing such as a fuel line, pwr steering line, or brake line. I figured it wasnt major, just bothers me LOL Sounds really bad tho...
